I am an abstract artist using a drip n pour style utilizing subjects into it. Born in Woodstock, Il. and raised in the Chicagoland area, now residing in Southern Illinois. I was schooled in basic art classes from 6th grade up into college. I am married to a beautiful woman who encourages me to keep painting. My style of art draws the viewer in and allows their mind to complete the piece. My statement is simple. ' I do not as an artist subscribe to the belief or theory that one must be disciplined in one style or medium. Art is the interpretation of a subject, whether it be internal or external, and my thought is that some mediums or styles work better than others. Therefore, if I have the ability to share my interpretations across a spectrum, then I should pursue that.' I believe that my god-given talent for control with drip sticks should be shared. My art stays away from controversial subjects, and keys on wildlife, animals and landscapes. I stopped using brushes several years back. I will use palette knives and spatulas with drip sticks on either hardboard or canvas. My art is unique and pleasing to look at. I am presently an in-house artist in St. Charles, Mo., at the Framations Gallery. I am looking for galleries in the east coast and Europe to represent me. I have also been the featured artist on Gallery-Worldwide.com for the last 2 years. I have been getting more involved in my photography lately and will start showing it along with selling prints.
